Float Room Sessions
What is a Float Room?
Our Float room is a large tub that is filled with highly concentrated salt water, that is heated to body temperature. It has been noted to be very beneficial for chronic pain, migraines, skin issues, anxiety and depression and much more.
What do I wear in the Float Tub?
A swimsuit is optional, and most people go in with nothing on.
When shouldn't I use the float Room?
Always as a doctor before using if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart problems, seizure disorders, cancer or are receiving radiation or chemotherapy, if you have any infectious or communicable diseases, large open wounds or sores, respiratory conditions or disorders, kidney disease, incontinence, in your first trimester of pregnancy or have a high risk pregnancy. If you have recently colored your hair or have a new tattoo. We also ask that you are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol during your float time.

What do I do during my Float?
Most people lay back and relax. The water is buoyant enough to keep you suspended in the water. We do offer relaxation music that is played though the water.

During your Float Session we ask:
-
Use caution in the float room, as surfaces may be wet and slippery
-
Shower thoroughly with provided body wash and shampoo BEFORE your float and after
-
Remove contact lenses and jewelry before floating
-
Understand that we use Epsom salt (MgSO4) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in our float tub water and that some people may have a reaction to them.
